RECOUNT TEXT

Recount merupakan salah satu ”Genre Text” yang muncul dalam soal UNAS SKL no 13.
Recount adalah text yang menceritakan kejadian masa lampau, pengalaman pribadi penulis atau pengalaman orang lain atau biografi seseorang.
Tenses yang digunakan dalam text recount adalah “Past Tense”, sehingga kata kerja yang dipakai adalah:
-          V-2 /did not (kata kerja past)
-          Tobe past tense yaitu was ( I, he, she, it), dan were ( you,we, they).
-          Modal past (would, should, could, might)
Function/Purpose:
- To retell past events
- To tell past experience
- To tell the biography of someone.

Late in the afternoon, the boys put up their tent in the middle of a field. As soon as this was done, they cooked a meal over an open fire. They were all hungry and the food smelt good.
After the wonderful meal, they told stories and sang songs by the fire. But some time later it began to rain. The boys felt tired so they put out the fire and crept into their tent.
Their sleeping bags were warm and comfortable, so they slept soundly. In the middle of the night, two boys woke up and began shouting. The tent was full of water!

Text for no 11-14
Taufik Hidayat booked a place in the men’s singles final on Friday. He beat Thailand’s Ponsana 15-9, 15-2. But Indonesia’s hope for all Indonesian final were shattered after Sony Dwi was beaten by Show of Shouth Korea later in the day. Sony will play in Saturday’s bronze medal match against Ponsana.
Taufiq knocked out Malasyia third seed Wong and Danish sixth seed Peter Gode on his way to the last four. When he was asked about the key to defeating Ponsana, Taufik explained, “Ponsana performed below  his best. He is a difficult opponent, but today he made many mistakes”.
Ponsana led 6-5 in the opening game but he was unable to maintain his solid start. He made errors and it allowed Taufik Hidayat to take control of the match.
Taufik Hidayat battered Ponsana with a series of leaping cross-court smashes. In the second game he easily finished the game and gave ponsana, the unseeded Thai, 15-2.

Before printing machines were invented in 1450, news was spread verbally. The first printed newspaper in history happened in China. The government of china produced a news sheet, called Tipao. It was circulated among court officials during the Han dynasty. At some point during the Tang dynasty, carved wooden blocks were court to print Tipao.
A newspaper with a regular schedule was first published in Venice, Italy, in the 16th century. The newspaper was called Avisi, or Gazettes. It was published weekly and it also reported news from other parts of Italy.
The first printed newspaper in England was published in 1621. English newspapers were different from the other first newspapers. They were among the first in the world to use headlines to attract readers and pictures to illustrate stories. English newspapers also set new business standards. They hired reporters, printed advertisements, and paid young people sell papers in the streets.

George was playing in the garden when he broke his ankle yesterday. He could not move. His father rang for an ambulance. Soon an ambulance came. There were paramedics. The doctor told him to rest and met him after four weeks. George had a difficult time moving around the house. But he still went to school.

Riko called the man and said that his wallet fell out. The man stopped and turned around. He came to Riko. Then Riko gave the wallet to him.
After receiving it, the man opened his wallet and took out some money. He wanted to give the money to Riko as a reward.
But Riko refused it by saying that he didn't want the money. He just wanted to help him. The man smiled and said that it was all right. He was not going to give him some money, One thing that the man wanted Riko to do was that Riko let the man take him home. Riko agreed and got into the man's car.
In the car, they talked about Riko's school. Riko was telling him about hes frends. When they arrived at Riko's house, the man told Riko's parents about what happened.
